Buffalo Creek Ranger Station Christmas Tree Permit 2022

Use this site to purchase your permit, follow tips and guidelines for the cutting area, and ensure you are prepared for a safe and fun forest adventure. There are three christmas tree cutting areas in the south platte ranger district. 14, christmas tree permits will be available for purchase at recreation.gov.

Trees must be for personal use only and not for resale. If your child didn’t get one, you must bring your fourth grader with you to a ranger station and you’ll receive a free christmas tree permit. The permit will cost $8.00 to $20.00, depending on individual forest pricing.

The permits are $10.00 and available at all participating ranger district offices.

There are five christmas tree cutting areas: $20.00 per permit/tree plus a processing fee; Christmas tree permits from the south park ranger district of the pike national forest can. November 1st through december 24th cost permits are $10 per tree with a maximum of five (5) trees per person.
